Prepare to meet one of the coolest people on the planet, our senior guide Jared! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY! You will LEARN, LAUGH, CLIMB, JUMP, SWIM, REPEAT! Swim? Yes! Swim, with a wetsuit. More on that later. This is multisport adventure people! Me and a friend traveled to Southern Utah, passed through Moab and reached Blanding. After classroom instruction, we practiced some really new and unique rappelling techniques specific to Canyoneering! The versatile gear we were introduced to made all the difference. Our guides were all very kind, friendly, patient, and most of all great teachers. Jared and his team take you to beautiful landscapes, sharing their passion for the canyons. Some slot canyon walls are narrow enough to stem side to side, some require rappelling. Setting up anchors requires technical knowledge, which Jared is an expert. Having him there was always reassuring. Some slot canyons had fun features like pools of water. This is where we suit up! Yeah we are in a desert, wearing wetsuits! Weird but COOL! After this trip, we became Lifers! That means we'll be back. In fact, I have been back twice now with Jared, private class and Techincal Canyoneering, and have enjoyed both. We even did a night mission in the canyons. WOW! So I would like to thank you Jared; you and your team are making the canyons of Utah a safer and more accessible place for smiling adventurers like me! Hope to see you soon in the Black Hole Canyon!
